Lancaster, Virginia--At a campaign rally in Lancaster, Virginia , on Thursday night, Al Pollard called on local Democrats to do all they could to support U.S. Congressional candidate, Philip Forgit, in his bid for the Virginia First District Special Election on December 11.
“As a decorated veteran and as a deacon in his church, Philip has the unique background and perspective to represent the Northern Neck and our values in Congress,” said Pollard during his introduction. Forgit thanked the crowd for their support and recounted how his main opponent had stumbled under hard questions in their only debate, recorded that morning on WVEC TV's On the Record. “I have what it takes to stand up and fight for what Virginia needs,” said Forgit.
